SAMPE Benelux student meeting 2021
This year the SAMPE Benelux 2021 Students’ meeting was held online.
Excellent students in materials or process science and engineering in their final year of the BSc or MSc programs (at moment of selection) and PhD students in the middle of their project wereinvited to participate in our annual Sampe Benelux Students meeting to present their work. During this event students from the participating groups are invited to present their work. A jury consisting of staff members and experts from industry selects a price winner who will be given the opportunity to represent SAMPE Europe 2021 International Students’ Seminar, during the Fall Conference in Baden-Zürich, Switzerland. Additionally, the student meeting offers an excellent opportunity to meet and discuss with colleagues working in the same field. The winning students are allowed to present their work the next day on the SAMPE Benelux meeting organised at Brightlands Materials Centre.
As in previous years, also this year SAMPE Benelux is allowed to delegate 2 students (just as many as France, the UK and Germany!) to the SAMPE Europe 2021 Conference in Baden-Zürich.
This European student event takes place in Baden-Zürich, Switzerland, in complement to the SAMPE Europe 21 Conference. Additionally, the student meeting offers an excellent opportunity to meet and discuss with colleagues working in the same field. Participating students are also offered the opportunity to subsequently participate in the Benelux Spring Meeting the next day. The student winners will have a chance to present their work at the SAMPE Benelux meeting at the same time!
